Builders & Contractors Exchange, Inc Scholarship Announcement

The Builders & Contractors Exchange, Inc. is offering academic scholarships for the purpose of assisting students interested in pursuing a career in engineering, design, construction, and related professions. Applications are currently being accepted. The Scholarship Committee shall select the most qualified and deserving applicants and recommend the Board of Directors to award each with a scholarship in an amount to be determined by the Committee.

To apply you must be a member, dependent of a member, an employee of a member of the Builders & Contractors Exchange or be sponsored by such member. You must be a full-time student enrolled in a construction, engineering or design curriculum at an accredited college or university or be currently enrolled in a construction-related course in a vocational school. All Virginia college or university applicants must be entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year during the next academic year to be eligible.

Applications will be evaluated based on the applicant’s past academic performance, relationship of course study to the engineering, design and construction industry, extracurricular activities, community involvement, work history, and attitude. Interviews with applicants will be scheduled upon receipt of the application.
