Skanska USA Building Inc. and Clancy & Theys Construction Company (a Joint Venture) are hosting  an information session and pre-bid meeting for their  upcoming CM-at-Risk project, Old Dominion University’s New Biology Building, from 11 AM – 2 PM  on Thursday, February 15 at The Priority Club located  on the second floor of Old Dominion University’s  Football stadium. Parking is available in the garage  at the corner of W 49th Street and Bluestone Ave  (4904 Bluestone Ave, Norfolk, VA 23508).

The session will provide interested trade partners,  vendors, and suppliers with pertinent information  regarding this project. There will be an opportunity  to discuss the prequalification procedures, bid  package opportunities, and the CM-at-Risk process. Participants will also have a chance to talk to  Members of the project team. Attendees will also  Have the chance to win incredible prizes during our  raffle giveaway!

The Skanska/Clancy & Theys team understands the  importance of diverse participation, and welcomes  SWaM trade partners, vendors, and suppliers to  attend our event and participate in the bidding  process.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Old Dominion University’s New Biology Building consists of a 162,596 SF cast-in-place concrete building. Located in Norfolk, VA, the five-story  research and education building will include classrooms, offices, research labs, teaching labs,  greenhouse spaces, zoology collections, herbarium  collections, a vivarium, conference spaces, and  meeting rooms. The project will also include  associated site work and grounds.
